Walnut & Red Resin Serving Board/Walnut platter board/walnut cheese board

This board is made from reclaimed walnut using tinted red resin to create a lovely effect and a talking point at parties.

This is a Walnut platter board, a serving board and some people call them charcuterie boards. They are in essence fancy cheese boards or serving boards for wine, champagne and prosecco and anything else at an evening meal or a party. This is not a chopping board, it's too nice for that.

It is made from reclaimed walnut which is a light colour with beautiful grain. The void was filled with epoxy resin from Glasscast, a very reputable brand and was tinted lightly with a red pigment.

The board is finished with a lengthy sanding process to a high grit and several coats of Osmo Polyx hard wax oil (Product no. 3062). It's very easy to clean but would benefit from an annual re waxing.

The item is 25cm x 28cm. I have included an image with a bottle of wine for scale purposes. It is a very tactile smooth board with a nice weight owing to the walnut.

This is a one of a kind unique board. It's the only item exactly like it in the whole world.

The item is extremely carefully packaged so no damage should be possible in transit, for this reason we can't offer a gift wrapping service.
